Wine is a Language

DiVino returns to Sentieri Italiani (Chicago), for a virtual wine tasting event. Chicago’s premiere Italian language and cultural center offers a rich slate of activities on and offline to supplement their language courses.

Wine and food are an integral part of Italian culture. DiVino founder, Annie B. Shapero actually got her start as a sommelier while pitching Italian travel and culture articles.

Wine Tasting Basics

In this 90-minute *BYOB* virtual wine tasting experience we’ll begin with an introduction to the wine tasting method. We’ll then apply it two three quintessential Italian wines:

Prosecco Brut
Vermentino
Primitivo

We’ll talk a bit about where these wines come from, how they’re made, and what makes them wines so special, and take some time to answer your questions and share wine stories.
